What are your shipping rates?

We charge $5.00 per lbs for shipments going to Lagos and $6.00 per lbs for shipments going outside of Lagos. Our flat rate is $75 to Lagos and $100 outside if Lagos for anything under 16 lbs. Rates depend on either the actual or volumetric weight, whichever one is greater.

Are there additional or hidden charges?

There are no additional shipping and clearing charges. However extra charges of $100 can apply on certain goods being shipped in bulk quantities and a $300 clearing fee is automatically added to any television.

How long does it take to get my package?

Transit time is estimated 7-10 business days upon packages being tendered to the airline. Do note, delays can be experienced.

Do you ship from other countries apart from the US to Nigeria?

While we are a licensed cargo company by the United States Transportation and Security Administration. We currently only ship from the US to Nigeria and vise versa.

What items cannot be shipped?

Explosives, Flammable liquids, Aerosols, Items containing Nicotine, Hazardous materials, Narcotics, Perishable items, Toxins, Bank notes (cash, checks, coins etc), Prescription medicines...

Do you consolidate items?

Yes! All goods that arrived to our warehouse are consolidated to save you money, we pack multiple boxes into fewer boxes to save you on shipping cost.

Can I ship fragile items?

Yes you can! Handling fees will apply, if shipping televisions, glass items, or high valued goods where crating or special packing is needed.

Do I need to provide receipts as proof of purchase?

Yes! receipts/invoices are needed as proof of ownership. This is required by US Customs to ensure items are being shipped legitimately.

Do you inspect and open all packages including brand new ones?

Yes! As part of our commitment to meeting TSA Regulations, Kingz Logistics inspects and opens every package we receive. This measure is in place to ensure the safety and quality of all shipments. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What are your shipping rates?

Our ocean rates start at $100 and increase based on the size of the box/bags. TVs and other special items have a standard rate starting at $250.

There are no additional shipping and clearing charges.

How long does it take to get my items?

Transit time is ESTIMATED 6-8 weeks upon the container sailing the US.

If I am shipping my car inside the container, can I ship goods outside of my vehicle?

No. All goods must be inside of your vehicle. Any goods that do not fit inside must be paid separately.

Can I put clothes or personal items in my vehicle for shipping?

Only a jack and a spare tire can remain in the vehicle if it is being shipped.

Can I leave my license plates on the vehicle?

We recommend taking license plates off the vehicle. License plates are frequently stolen as souvenirs.

Do I need to fill the gas tank?

No. In fact, due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations, only one-quarter tank of gas is permitted for RO/RO shipments. The gas tank must be completely empty for container shipments.

Will the salt water from the ocean damage my vehicle if I were to use the RO/RO service?

All of the major vehicle manufacturers (G.M., Chrysler, Toyota, etc.) ship their new vehicles via RO/RO Carrier on climate controlled vessels.

Is my vehicle insured while onboard a vessel?

The steamship lines are only liable for $500 in damages. Separate insurance coverage may be purchased through our office.

Do I need the original vehicle title in order to ship my vehicle?

Yes. A vehicle will only be cleared by U.S. Customs with the original title present.

Can I ship my leased vehicle overseas?

A leased vehicle may be shipped only with an original NOTARIZED letter (+2 copies) from the lien holder stating their permission for the car to be shipped overseas, together with the original title.

Why does my vehicle need to be at the pier several days before the vessel departs?

U.S. Customs regulations require that vehicles be at the pier for at least 72 hours (not including holidays and weekends) before the vessel departs.
