How long does it take to get my package?

Air freight transit time is typically 7–10 business days once your package has been tendered to the airline. Please note that delays can occasionally occur due to airline schedules, inspections, or customs processing.

Do you ship to other countries apart from the US to Nigeria?

Yes. Kingz Logistics ships air freight to Nigeria, and we also offer shipping to other selected countries. Destination availability depends on the service type and cargo category. Please contact our team to confirm your destination and get a quote.

What items cannot be shipped?

For safety and compliance reasons, the following items cannot be shipped by air freight: Explosives or firearms/ammunition Flammable liquids or gases Aerosols (sprays, pressurized cans) Hazardous or toxic materials Narcotics / illegal drugs Perishable items (food, fresh produce, me

Do you consolidate items?

Yes. We consolidate all eligible items that arrive at our warehouse to help you save money. This means we combine multiple packages into fewer boxes whenever possible, reducing your overall shipping cost.

Can I ship fragile items?

Yes, you can. Fragile items such as TVs, glassware, and other high-value goods are accepted for air freight. Please note that handling fees may apply if crating or special packing is required to ensure safe transport.

Do I need to provide receipts as proof of purchase?

Yes. Receipts or invoices are required as proof of ownership for air freight shipments. This is a U.S. Customs requirement to confirm items are being shipped legitimately and to support proper documentation.

Do you inspect and open all packages including brand new ones?

Yes. To comply with TSA air freight regulations, Kingz Logistics inspects and may open every package we receive—even brand-new items. This helps ensure safe, secure, and compliant shipping for all customers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What are your shipping rates?

Our ocean rates start at $100 and increase based on the size of the box/bags. TVs and other special items have a standard rate starting at $250.

Are there additional or hidden charges?

There are no additional shipping and clearing charges.

How long does it take to get my items?

Transit time is ESTIMATED 6-8 weeks upon the container sailing the US.

If I am shipping my car inside the container, can I ship goods outside of my vehicle?

No. All goods must be inside of your vehicle. Any goods that do not fit inside must be paid separately.

Do you ship from other countries apart from the US to Nigeria?

While we are a licensed cargo company by the United States Transportation and Security Administration. We currently only ship from the US to Nigeria and vise versa.

What items cannot be shipped?

Explosives, Flammable liquids, Aerosols, Items containing Nicotine, Hazardous materials, Narcotics, Perishable items, Toxins, Bank notes (cash, checks, coins etc), Prescription medicines...

Do you consolidate items?

Yes! We can consolidate all items into fewer boxes to save you on shipping cost.

Can I ship fragile items?

Yes you can! Handling fees will apply, if shipping televisions, glass items, or high valued goods where crating or special packing is needed.

Can I put clothes or personal items in my vehicle for shipping?

Only a jack and a spare tire can remain in the vehicle if it is being shipped.

Can I leave my license plates on the vehicle?

We recommend taking license plates off the vehicle. License plates are frequently stolen as souvenirs.

Do I need to fill the gas tank?

No. In fact, due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations, only one-quarter tank of gas is permitted for RO/RO shipments. The gas tank must be completely empty for container shipments.

Will the salt water from the ocean damage my vehicle if I were to use the RO/RO service?

All of the major vehicle manufacturers (G.M., Chrysler, Toyota, etc.) ship their new vehicles via RO/RO Carrier on climate controlled vessels.

Is my vehicle insured while onboard a vessel?

The steamship lines are only liable for $500 in damages. Separate insurance coverage may be purchased through our office.

Do I need the original vehicle title in order to ship my vehicle?

Yes. A vehicle will only be cleared by U.S. Customs with the original title present.

Can I ship my leased vehicle overseas?

A leased vehicle may be shipped only with an original NOTARIZED letter (+2 copies) from the lien holder stating their permission for the car to be shipped overseas, together with the original title.

Why does my vehicle need to be at the pier several days before the vessel departs?

U.S. Customs regulations require that vehicles be at the pier for at least 72 hours (not including holidays and weekends) before the vessel departs.
